This coming bank holiday weekend, we celebrate VE Day ’75th Anniversary’ a shared moment of celebration. To commemorate these important celebrations they will take place from 8th May to 10th May 2020, in the comfort of our own homes.  Join your neighbours

11.00 am: The Nation Remembers. A two-minute silence to mark the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

2.45 pm: The Announcement of Victory Winston Churchill’s historic speech shown on BBC – providing a fascinating insight into what the public will have heard on that significant day all those years ago.

6.00 pm: Dinner and raise a glass to your neighbours

8.00 pm: The People’s Celebration Viewers can also tune in to a special programme on VE Day on BBC One, see some of the biggest stars

9.00 pm: The Queen’s speech followed by nationwide sing-a-long ‘We’ll meet again’.
