Prestige Group – Where it all began…

It all began back in 1991 when Mick Todd, Keith Hanger and Silvano Geranio put their combined 40 years’ experience in the park homes industry to set up Prestige Developments – Park Home and Mobile Home Refurbishment Company.

Following the success of Prestige Developments and to keep continuity of supply they were joined by Steve Taylor in 2002 for the start of a new company ‘Prestige Plastics’, producing specifically designed uPVC windows and doors for the industry.

Having gained expertise in park home design and construction, they could see some of the recurring issues they were addressing in other park homes and decided it was time to use that knowledge to offer customers something even better.

In 2007 the small driven team were joined by Eric Jones as financial director for the launch of a new manufacturing company Prestige Park & Leisure Homes and manufactured their first residential home. Prestige continued to be successful and a year later manufactured their first leisure lodge. Going from strength to strength it was not long before the premises were expanded again and in 2013 Prestige Park & Leisure Homes acquired Homeseeker Park and Leisure homes and now produce 15 homes a week. Today Prestige Homeseeker offer numerous models of park homes and leisure lodges that suit all budgets. Their admirable reputation for quality, design and innovation combined with highly driven and motivated employees has made them one of the largest park home and leisure lodge manufacturers in the industry, employing over 450 staff in and around the Northamptonshire area. Even though they have grown significantly over the years they still retain that personal touch; a family company with ‘old fashioned values’.

The Rushden site has the largest permanent showground in the UK, displaying Prestige Homeseeker’s luxurious homes and lodges. (Open 6 days of the week, Monday to Saturday).

Factory Tours are available to customers, they have the opportunity to see first-hand the craftsmanship that goes into each home at every stage of the manufacturing process on a factory tour. With an informative Q&A session with a panel of experts in the industry, this is a great experience for anyone considering a buying a park home or lodge as their next move.
