To provide an excellent professional support for our customers, ensuring any issues are resolved efficiently and effectively as a member of the internal siting and customer service teams.
Provide full technical support, off site corrective or preventative maintenance and offer after sales solutions to the Customer once the home has been sold and sited. Liaise with other departments to ensure excellent customer satisfaction, and minimise the number of after sales snagging by proactive feedback to the operation via the production specifiers.

We are looking for multi-skilled workers who have experience in; decorating, carpentry and plumbing. This role will involve working away from home and will be contracted at 50 hours per week.
Additional Training will be provided where required.

Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader

• To exceed customer expectations, through pro-active and effective supply against customer orders.
• To provide leadership and development to direct reports. To manage specific production areas and respective teams to meet manufacturing priorities and delivery plans.
• To ensure efficient and timely production of goods within budget, on time and in line with Company objectives.
• To inform, motivate and inspire the production team to deliver the business’ production objectives within the productivity levels.
• To lead, develop and engage a multi-skilled team to achieve this whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and health and safety.

Specific duties

• To Manage and motivate the Production operatives – people management and task management.
• Coordinate the right person to the right job at the right time to meet production targets. Review skill base and numbers as required with the Production Supervisor.
• To Manage the daily production targets against the schedule to deliver efficient production output.
• Identify and solve any production issues efficiently and effectively so as to maintain production schedules; utilising the Production Specifiers or Production FLMs.
• Strive to reduce production times by constantly reviewing resources, assembly methods and factory layout where appropriate; to feedback to the Production FLMs.
• Manage non conformance reports related to manufacturing issues and promptly resolve production issues; with the production operatives.
• Manage and monitor all staff time keeping and absences including annual leave to ensure minimal disruption to planned production. Conduct Return to Work interviews and issue Attendance Improvement Plans as required.
• Monitor and review the performance of the production team and highlight, drive and escalate any necessary training and assistance for improvement.
• Highlight and escalate any disciplinary or employee grievances issues that need to be managed via the Production FLMs in a timely fashion and in line with company policy and procedure.
• Advise Production FLMs of any delays affecting customer deliveries and any events that impact on target margin together with suggested solutions to resolve such instances.
• Implement, enforce and analyse quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives and maintain high standards of production to avoid, detect and correct problems; (including snagging and waste management).
• Keep the production team focused on delivering excellent customer service and value.
• Attend management meetings as required.
• Implement Variations of Contract (VOC) as and when necessary.
• Manage any changes in process, products, methods as and when necessary.
• Manage any feedback from Customer Care team to ensure errors are not repeated.
• Maintain individual and team skill levels; keeping up to date with the latest production and production management concepts; and maintaining shop floor capabilities and new technologies.
• Maintain the company’s expected level of service delivery at all times to internal and external customers and remain committed to customer service excellence.
• Conduct business in an ethical and fair manner, protecting the Company’s best interests at all times.
• Manage Personal Development Reviews for Production Operatives with Production Supervisor.
• Attend training as required by the Company and take responsibility for own self-development; Contribute to improving the performance of the team by putting forward new ideas and by implementing change when requested to do so.

Painter and Decorator

We have an opportunity to join our Production team at our Kettering Factory as a Painter and Decorator.
Required to work to a high standard with an eye for detail in painting walls and ceilings, ideally with experience in hanging wallpaper, including feature wallpapers.

Able to work to a 3 day shift pattern 06:00 – 18:00

FLT Driver

FLT Driver

We have an opportunity to join our Stores team as an FLT Driver.

Valid counter balance licence essential.

Specific duties

• Drive counterbalance truck to put away & pick items.
• Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles.
• Check goods off when delivered and complete paperwork.
• Liaise with production staff as materials are needed.
• Ensure that all waste is removed from warehouse / production in a timely manner.
• Work as a team or on own initiative when needed.
• Assist with stock takes.

Designer

Designer

We have an opportunity for a Designer to work within our Technical Design team.

Reporting to the Technical Office Manager you will play a key role in drawing-based design solutions to facilitate the design and manufacture of our stunning customer-focussed and prototype residential and leisure homes.

Specific duties

• Provide support where required with the design of prototype homes.
• Maintain and update, as required, the standard information library, including model layouts, constructional drawings and component modules.
• Work alongside both the sales department and, where appropriate, customers to provide bespoke space planning solutions and specification documents in line with individual customer needs.
• Provide all information required for the purchasing of materials in a timely manner. Also give support to the procurement team in the sourcing of new materials where required.
• Create and update manufacturing instruction packs for customer specific homes.
• Work in close partnership with our extensive production facilities to devise and communicate effective manufacturing solutions, whilst also constantly looking at ways to improve the manufacturing process to increase efficiencies.
• Ensure that all home designs comply with the relevant British and European standards.
• Work at all times in accordance with company processes, and assist in the development of internal protocols to support the departments commitment to excellent service through continuous improvement.

• An architectural or manufacturing based design qualification, or experience, is preferred but not essential.
• Experience of working to Building Regulations would be a strong advantage, though not essential.
• Good self-presentation skills, polite and well mannered.
• Ideally 5 GCSE’s at grade ‘5’ or above.
• Good numeracy skills.

Training will be provided to applicants who are able to demonstrate these skills.

Carpentry – we have opportunities in a number of operations including second fix carpentry, timber roof and wall assembly, exterior cladding, mill preparation and kitchen fitters.

Successful candidates will be working in a production team environment and should be highly skilled in their trade. With attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude, you should have previous experience of working in a fast paced environment. You will also benefit from working a four day working week Monday to Thursday with the opportunity to work additional overtime hours.
