Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time. The Mental health organisation believe that mental health is everyone’s business.
Mental Health Awareness Week takes place this week 18-24 May 2020 on the topic of kindness.
One thing that we have seen all over the world is that kindness is prevailing in uncertain times. We have learnt that amid the fear, there is also community, support and hope.
The added benefit of helping others is that it is good for our own mental health and wellbeing. It can help reduce stress and improve your emotional wellbeing.
Kindness could transform our schools, places of work, communities and families. Let’s shape a society that tips the balance in favour of good mental health, for all of us, but especially for those who are most vulnerable.

Covid-19 latest update from Prestige Homeseeker
We wanted to keep you up to date with our response and planning in connection to the Coronavirus outbreak and subsequent lockdown.
Despite the Government’s desire to keep the manufacturing, construction and transport sectors working you will be aware that we chose to close the business on 23rd March 2020. This was driven first and foremost by our overriding priority to keep our team, suppliers and customers safe.
Over the last week or so we have deployed a small skeleton crew of volunteers back in our factories to prepare for a return to operations. These preparations have gone extremely well, with social distancing signage and guidance controls implemented, cleaning regimes and hand wash stations readied and PPE in place. All of this is in tandem with a new two-shift pattern to support our safety and distancing protocols. We’re hugely proud of our team and the significant work they have completed to get us ready for a structured and safe return to work. We expect there will be a steady increase in activity over the initial month, enabling regular consultation, testing and review of the new operational procedures with our teams.
So, whilst it continues to be a challenging time there have been so many positives to draw from our circumstances, not least of which the strength and spirit of all of the colleagues and volunteers who work in our business and in our industry. The opportunities for our industry had already improved greatly in the early part of 2020, and whilst the current situation has clearly been traumatic, we strongly believe the long-term prospects for our industry have if anything been enhanced by the consequences of the outbreak, with increased numbers of consumers likely wanting to stay and holiday in the UK.
As always, we thank you for your unwavering support and will continue to keep you fully informed over the coming weeks and months.
